The Embudo Station Guest Cabin

Our wonderfully large guest cabin can be yours to enjoy. This cabin is approximately 1100 square feet, with a spacious living / kitchen combination room. There is also a large bedroom, with a romantic four- poster bed. A full bath rounds out your accommodations. Of course, the cabin is fully equipped with dishes, glassware and cooking utensils, an electric range and large refrigerator.

This is my wife Sandy’s idea of ‘roughing it’. A great cabin that adjoins beautiful wilderness, and within steps of our fabulous restaurant. After a hard day of outdoor playing, join us at the patio bar for sunset drinks and delicious meals.

There are magnificent sandstone cliffs for hiking and exploring just out the cabin’s door. Or enjoy trout fishing and river rafting on the Rio Grande. The property has over 2200 feet of river frontage, and you can hike over three more miles of river frontage on the old narrow gauge railroad bed from our property. Secluded and quiet, yet conveniently located just 40 minutes from Santa Fe and 30 minutes to Taos, this cabin is a romantic retreat. The cabin is just 30 minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Guests love the convenience of seeing both Santa Fe and Taos on their vacation, from our mid-point location. The rugged beauty of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the quaint villages of Northern New Mexico are just minutes away. Our guests often return year after year.

For convenience, we include all your breakfast foods in your refrigerator, along with freshly ground coffee and an assortment of teas.

The cabin rates are $100 per night for 1 or 2 persons. Each additional person is $25, up to a total of 4 guests maximum. Discounts are available for longer stays. Our cabin is a non-smoking facility, and we ask smoking guests to please smoke outside. Also, for the health and protection from allergies of our guests, the cabin is pet-free.
